Tattoo Aftercare:
What happens to your tattoo after it is done is important to us, so we put a second skin film on as a gift for everyone.
We currently use the Inkness Second Skin film.
What are the advantages over traditional treatment/aftercare?
- It’s breathable, so it similar to real skin
- Waterproof surface
- It keeps the tattoo sealed off from the outside world, i.e. from pathogens
- Inflammation is almost impossible
You get all of this in a foil for free, which is a subject right for tattoos with us.
- There is no need to change it, there are no difficulties with cleaning
- It can be up for 3-5 days without any problems. (We recommend the three, of course your other suggestion may differ)
- 70% faster healing during critical period
- More pigment remains in the skin
Aftercare process

The foil is put on: You don’t have to do anything special with it for three days. No need to cream or change.
But: if a lot of liquid accumulates and flows out from under the film, then the film must be removed. If the secretion can come out, the bacteria can also enter, and in this case it no longer closes it off from the outside world. In the other case, if the film is wrinkled and your tattoo is in contact with the outside world, it must also be removed! If this happens, ask for our help on what to do next! We won’t scold you for this, we are here to solve everything!
Attention, the film’s adhesive does not withstand heat well, so contact with heat must be avoided!
2.
Tattoo treatment after three days:
You will need an “INKNESS(®) TATTOO SOAP” to wash your hands in order to touch the tattoo with clean hands. Then place your tattoo under warm water with foil. Don’t worry, it won’t be ruined, our years of experience show that the foil doesn’t stick to the tattoo, because tissue fluid leaks out of it. Therefore, you can safely remove the film with force, your tattoo will not be damaged. If you have removed the film, clean it thoroughly with the soap we recommend! Drink it up with a paper towel! Apply thinly with Inkness After Tattoo cream!
3.
No further foiling is necessary. Wash your hands before each application!
Apply very thinly to your tattoo four or five times a day until it peels off. You can easily wash it every day while bathing, but it is strictly forbidden to soak it! The treatment of the tattoo ends here. If it is healed and dry, you can apply body care. But strictly after recovery!
